“I would rather wait 4 weeks to see Renew Therapy than go to anyone else. Their dynamic approach and intuition into diagnosing pain is unbelievable!”

“I had been to over 15 sports specialists and Physios for my running injury. Everyone just did the same thing and told me to live on anti-inflammatories and not aggravate my lower back with sport. Caryn took time to hear my full history and did an extensive assessment. I had two sessions with Caryn and I am now living a pain-free life and enjoying my sport again. Caryn has a gift like no other and I would not go to anyone else.”

“It’s rare to come across a standout talent like Renew Therapy.
I’ve been a client of theirs for several years and after each consultation, I come away inspired by her energy and expertise. Two years ago I tore my ankle ligaments so badly that the ER doctor said I would never trail run again and would possibly require surgery. I knew they would have the answer.
With their skilful injury rehabilitation, I not only avoided surgery but was running again within three months, and to this day I have no pain, discomfort or limitation of movement from that injury. Having developed a technique to insert dry needling without any pain experience whatsoever is testament to her dedication to her profession and their clients.
They are truly a leader in their field and I highly recommend them.”

“I started experiencing anterior knee pain in 2014. I’m a casual runner but very soon I was not able to run without pain. In the following years, I had two kids so this slowed my rehab, but over the course of 6 years, I went to a physio, 2 biokineticists, 2 orthopods, and a podiatrist about 5 times who put various inserts in my shoes. I also had 2 MRIs (fortunately only paying for one as I regularly work in an MRI unit).
I was always told variations on a theme – chondromalacia, patellar femoral syndrome, etc. I was given exercises usually to build up hip stabilizers and hamstrings. I was left feeling that the reason I wasn’t getting better was that I wasn’t doing my exercises enough.
Fast-forward to this year, I was pretty much only able to swim pain-free. I was thinking twice about getting down on the floor to play with my kids, knowing I might ‘tweak’ my knee getting up. This posed a problem during the lockdown as the gyms are closed.
A friend recommended Renew Therapy. I went to themout of desperation but not really expecting much. They were wonderful! They treated me for 1hr15min. About half of that was spent taking a thorough history. They knew the diagnosis within that time and proceeded to work on my tight muscles contributing to the pain. They were confident and efficient but caring. They then gave me stretches (very different from any other program I’d been on before) and told me after two weeks I should go for a run. I almost laughed at them, but they assured me it would be fine.
This was roughly 3 months ago. Since then I’ve gone on multiple short runs, all of them pain-free. I no longer think twice about running around with my kids or getting down on the floor to do an activity with them. All this after a single session with Renew Therapy.
As a healthcare worker myself Renew Therapy has inspired me to do better. They reminded me that doing a good job for my patients can make a massive difference in their quality of life. I simply can’t recommend them enough.”

Renew Therapy have been my amazing physiotherapists and personal trainers for many years, and for as long as I can recall running competitively.
Prior to meeting them, I had actually had a very bad experience with physiotherapy that put me off seeking treatment for my running injuries, and I actually thought I might need to consider stopping my favorite sport, but they showed me that physiotherapy does not necessarily need to be painful, as well as how important strength, core and pre-habilitation work are to stay injury-free.
From regular customized programs to liaising with many other sporting and medical professionals that I have had to deal with over the years, they have extended limitless patience and dedication to seeing me, their patient, get the best and most thoroughly researched treatment or course of action, to enable me to stay healthy, strong and fast in my sport, in the most natural and safest ways.
They has very impressive credentials and experience, but this incredible team is so much more. For every world-acclaimed Sports Star, or Famous Movie Star, or Countries President that they treats back to health, they is only further humbled, and will never toot their own horn.
When they are with you, they are completely present and will absolutely rack their brains and brainstorm to figure out what is the root of your injury or niggle. Their knowledge of the human body, of physiology, of every one of my muscles, tendons, ligaments, etc. is profound. They don’t need you to tell them what’s wrong or hurting, they can tell by just feeling and accessing your body and movement or lack thereof.
They confidently review your x-rays and scans and medical reports and gives educated and honest feedback and direction to a multitude of professionals, like physicians, EMS Trainers, coaches, dieticians/ nutritionists, doctors, etc. so as to ensure a thorough and all-round perspective of what is going on inside and out of you as an athlete, to ensure your get the correct treatment or course of action, regardless of what it may be or whom it may need to be with.
They think outside the box, and cover all angles, from literally coming to my office to access how I sit at work, to checking bike setups, sleep setup, running shoes regularly, nutrition checks, stress levels, emotional status, etc.
When you are lying on their physiotherapy table, they will do everything in her power, right there right now, to try to fix you, whether that entails manipulation, massage, needling, whatever, they will do it. It’s not about trial and error and seeing them for months, it’s about getting you back out there asap (healthily and as the body will allow) to do what you love again!
During our personal training sessions, which even when I was going 3 times a week felt like a completely different experience every time because of their creativity, they watch my every move, bend, jump, stretch, lift, like a hawk, and adjusts the session and the exercises accordingly, so that my body gets stronger every time in the places that it needs too, to benefit my overall health and my performance in my unique sport that I love!
They will push you hard (with kindness, but at the same time they will not entertain slacking), to get the most out of your potential, but will also reign you in before you go too far.
On a regular basis, I refer Renew Therapy as the go-to physiotherapist, to every and anyone I meet, even if it is for the first time if they so much as murmur anything about a chronic sports or lifestyle injury or niggle that they just cannot seem to find a solution to, and while I am not the kind of person to over-promise on anything, I will continue to say these 4 words with absolute certainty to whoever may listen to me: ”They WILL fix you!”
I have referred and entrusted them with so many of my family and friends and fellow athletes, and basically, anyone that requires a physiotherapy solution to getting back to do what they love, whether it’s a sport or just back to a pain-free lifestyle.
